The Troy High School bowling teams turned in a strong road performance Tuesday night at RollHouse, earning wins at all three levels against Butler. The Varsity Boys defeated Butler 2,192–2,102, the Varsity Girls rolled to a 2,182–1,740 victory, and the JV Boys capped the night with a 1,755–1,355 win.
The Varsity Boys were led by a balanced effort across the lineup, posting games of 952 and 872 before closing out the match with 174 and 194 baker games to secure the win. Kyle Wickman paced Troy with a standout 449 series, rolling games of 264 and 185. Sam Swanson followed with a 369 series (168–201), while Evan Schmidt added 351 (204–146). Caleb Young chipped in a 347 series (159–188), and Seth Greene contributed 309 (157–152). With the win, the Varsity Boys improved to 6–7 overall and 6–6 in MVL play.
The Varsity Girls continued their impressive season with another convincing conference victory. Troy built momentum early with games of 878 and 938 before finishing strong in baker play with scores of 153 and 213. Baylie Massingill led the way with a 408 series (183–225), closely followed by Kari Hoover’s 397 (177–220). Libby Burghardt rolled a consistent 372 (182–193), Cora Coate added 370 (182–188), and Cecily Greene posted a 266 series (154–112). The win moves the Varsity Girls to 11–2 overall and 11–1 in the MVL.
The JV Boys rounded out the sweep with a dominant performance, rolling games of 779 and 708 before sealing the match with baker scores of 160 and 118. Jaxson Frey led Troy with a 382 series (208–174), while Ayden Bandy added 307 (153–154). Owen Waterman rolled 300 (143–157), Carson King posted 272 (144–128), Arturo Martinez contributed 226 (131–95), and Jackson Hermann added 208 (101–107). The JV Boys now stand at 10–6 on the season.
