TIPP CITY, Ohio — The Troy High School bowling teams put together an impressive night on Tuesday at RollHouse, sweeping Tippecanoe in varsity boys, varsity girls, and JV boys competition.
The Varsity Boys edged out a tight match, defeating Tippecanoe 2,096–2,049. Troy rolled games of 878 and 901 before closing strong in the baker portion to secure the win.
Sam Swanson led the Trojans with a standout series of 221 and 206 (427), while Kyle Wickman added 189 and 215 (404). Zadok Reeves contributed 329, and Caleb Young finished with 310. The varsity boys now sit at 5–6 overall and 5–5 in MVL play.
The Varsity Girls continued their strong season with a dominant 2,043–1,557 victory. Troy jumped out early with a 925 opening game and never looked back.
Baylie Massingill paced the Trojans with 213 and 190 (403), followed closely by Libby Burghardt’s 225 and 162 (387). Cora Coate chipped in 332, while December Byrd added 265. With the win, the varsity girls improved to 9–2 overall and 9–1 in the MVL.
The JV Boys completed the sweep with a convincing 1,682–1,245 win. Troy posted consistent games and closed strong in baker play.
Ayden Bandy led the way with 206 and 147 (353), while Arturo Martinez rolled 118 and 152 (270). Jackson Hermann added 206, helping the JV boys move to 8–6 on the season.
Troy Bowling will look to carry the momentum forward as league play continues.
