The Lady Trojans had a busy Christmas break as they played a total of five games over two weeks. This was a good stretch for the Lady Trojans as they went 3-2 over the course of these games. They ended the break at 5-5 (4-5 conference). At .500, they are 5th in the MVL just behind Greenville.

The Lady Trojans started the stretch vs. Stebbins at home on December 20th and lost a close one, 35-31. They were outscored in every quarter but the 4th, where they tied Stebbins 11-11. Their leading scorer, Persephone Williamson, had 9 points and 9 rebounds, leading both stats. She also led the Lady Trojans in steals with 3.

The Lady Trojans continued on December 22nd at Miamisburg, where they won a pretty deciding victory 31-22. Once again, Persephone Williamson was the leading scorer with 8 points, while Simone Adekoya led the team in rebounds with a strong 12. They played strong defense in the first quarter, only allowing 2 points.

Then, on December 27th, the Lady Trojans faced West Carrollton at home, where they had another deciding victory, 39-25. The leading scorer in this game was Addi Salmon with 12 points. She also rebounded well, grabbing 4 of them. Although Addi had 4, Alyvia Ayers had 10 rebounds. The Lady Trojans were cleaning the glass, leading in rebounds in this game, 30-24.

Continuing on December 30th, they went to Sidney and left with a tough 4-point loss, 32-28. Troy didn't have a leading scorer in this game, with two people tied for 7 points, Alyvia Ayers and Persephone Williamson. The Lady Trojans led in rebounds again, 22-18. They shot 38% from the field as a team.

Lastly, in the first game of the new year, the Lady Trojans started it off with a bang, beating Fairborn 40-28 in Fairborn's gym. The Lady Trojans held Fairborn to a scoreless first quarter and then scored 16 in the third quarter. The leading scorer for Troy was Alyvia Ayers with 12, and the leading rebounder was Persephone Williamson with 6 boards. The Lady Trojans have kept up on their turnovers by getting 15 steals to Fairborn's 8.

The Lady Trojans are now back from break and are 1-2 over their 3-game post-break stretch. They started it off with a dominant 40-19 win over Piqua, but followed this win with back-to-back losses at home versus Sidney and away at Tippecanoe.
